Nihon no Ichiban Nagai Hi plot
"The dramatic true story of the end of ww ii."
The atomic bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The cities are in ruins, thousands of soldiers and civilians are dead, many are dying. The government doesn't know what to do. Some ministers want Japan to surrender, others believe that the fight should continue, even if it means death for every Japanese. Emperor Hirohito is asked to make a decision. The emperor does the unthinkable, he decides to announce the surrender of Japan. Minister Anami who prefers to fight on. He must now choose between his loyalty to the Emperor and his desire to continue fighting.
