Gehoorzame Centimeter plot
In Obedient Centimeter, two people are portrayed with Korsakov. Both are no longer able to live independently. Korsakov's syndrome is an extreme form of memory loss due to alcoholism in combination with poor nutrition. The two main characters are extremes in the Korsakov problem: one is taciturn and resigned, the other stubborn and rebellious. Especially the latter, Mrs. Borsboom, is so eloquent that as a viewer it is initially difficult to believe that something is wrong with her. She vehemently denies that. The man being followed has accepted that he has Korsakov, and is trying to live with that.
