Jenny Hill is a beauty from the American frontier who loves a renegade cowboy but - against her will - marries a boring farmer. Then the usually mild-mannered husband reveals that he undergoes a sudden transformation during every full moon. The only one who can protect her is her husband's half-brother.

The idea for the film may have originated on the back of a beer mat, and they succeeded reasonably well in translating that into a mood, but developing a story was apparently too much trouble. Let alone proper character development, understandable dialogue, or something as dull and old-fashioned as mise-en-scene or storyboards—ugh, that’s work. And perhaps all of that could have been overlooked if the soundtrack hadn't been pouring such a whining and intrusive mess over you the whole time. If the visuals hadn't been so floaty and languidly hazy.
A film to skip. Even if you are trying to complete lists of one of the actors. It seems inconceivable to me that anyone would look this film up again because of director Martin Donovan.
