Hotel Very Welcome plot

In Hotel Very Welcome, five western backpackers are looking for themselves and for freedom and happiness in India and Thailand. Joshua and Adam, two young Englishmen, lose themselves in full moon rave parties and have little regard for the environment in which they find themselves and for each other. Meanwhile, Svenja is stuck in a hotel in Bangkok because she missed her connecting flight. She begins a passionate but bumbling relationship over the phone with a Thai travel agent who barely speaks English. In contrast, the likeable Irishman Liam tries to get to know the real India, but this does not solve his problems on the home front. And finally, there is the German Marion, who works hard in a commune to discover happiness and love. But the road to enlightenment is bumpy.
