Someone's Knocking at the Door plot

In the 1970s, Wilma and John Hopper were executed for a series of horrific murders and rapes. Now they're back, accidentally raised from the dead by a group of medical students in a drug experiment. One by one, the students fall prey to the two homicidal sex maniacs who can take on different guises, though John Hopper remains easily recognizable by his... large sex.

Ghe bizarre.

If you're into a bit of 'bad' drug movies or cheap seventies exploitation nonsense, this one's for you, it's a mix of both.

The film alternates a good trippy experience with boring and silly scenes, sometimes very adolescent. But there are also some nice shots, like when Justin walks up to Ray (accompanied by a nice score).

It is a bit amateurish at times (like the acting of some) but it does have a "Rivella-a bit strange but nice" atmosphere. So don't expect scary, suspense or super gross. The short playing time makes it perfectly digestible and the ending fits well and can be surprising.

Clearly visible a low budget film, in which a serial killer, who is in possession of a phallus of 15 inches long with a diameter of 4 inches, goes on a rampage. An inch is equal to 2.5 cm, so do the math. The thing is certainly impressive. Unsafe too. Uncontrolled and careless use of this monstrosity causes many fatalities.

The above sounds pretty sick and doesn't really make any sense, but the deadly weapon is quite original and that makes you curious in a wrong way. But oh, oh, how disappointing it all is. The scenes in which people are being worn out are absolutely not shocking despite the magnificent deadly weapon. Every time something bizarre happens, the image turns psychedelic red or blue. Then you can't see a damn thing anymore. Oh well.

The film also has little to offer. We see uninteresting and tiresome characters doing stupid and predictable things. Their daily activities are centered around drug use and partying. Very annoying and bloody irritating. The actors are bad, so there is no credibility or empathy whatsoever.

The film is also not at all exciting or scary. No unexpected things happen. Not even a simple jumpscare. It is hopeless. We are stuck with these bad acting characters.

Everything about the movie is just so cheap and low-end.

Not entirely true btw. The hard rocky score is ok though.

But anyway, the rest of the movie is just plain crap!
