The American Mall plot
"Love and dreams are not for sale"
It is during that magical summer, just after graduating from college and taking the first steps into university. Ally dreams of a future as a songwriter, but her mother, full of her own ambitions and now struggling as the owner of a local music store, wishes she would pursue further business studies. However, Ally sneaks into the mall at night to play the big beautiful piano that's there. She is admired by the nightly crew of the shopping center, four young boys who form their own band. The group's lead singer, the caretaker Joey, is in love with Ally and sometimes sings her songs from afar, but will he ever have the courage to introduce himself to her?
