The River Thief plot

"What if the best day of your life was your last?"

Diz is a reckless adolescent who roams around. He was abandoned by his parents as a child. He now takes care of himself and refuses to accept alms. He takes what he wants and runs away with it. Tired and determined not to answer to anyone, Diz leads a life marked by theft and abandonment. But when he ends up in a small town on the Snake River, things change for Diz. He is confronted by an imperturbable old man named Marty and falls for Marty's granddaughter Selah. One day, Diz robs a local psychopathic drug dealer. He now becomes the owner of a huge pile of cash but also the target of two vicious killers...
