"Do you believe in miracles?"
Michael believes that as a child he experienced a divine revelation in the Chilean desert. The neighbors don't believe him and start pointing at him like the village idiot: el Cristo. One evening, a childhood friend is involved in an accident in a remote village. Upon hearing of this, Michael sets out on a pilgrimage through the desert on foot, convinced that he can heal his friend with a miracle.
