XIII plot
The first female US president, Sally Sheridan, has been shot and killed by a sniper during her Veterans Day speech. Her killer can barely escape alive with national security on his tail...or so it seems. Three months later, some elderly people discover the body of an injured man hanging from a parachute at the top of a tree. The young man cannot remember the slightest bit about his identity. The only clue is a tattoo on his neck, XIII. Meanwhile in the White House, Government Intelligence is still looking for the presidential killer. With elections coming up in a few weeks, an arrest could certainly sway the ballot in favor of the current government. Hours after XIII is identified by secret intelligence, Special Ops forces swarm the couple's home on Cape Fear. On the run, running on adrenaline and instinct, XIII takes out the soldiers one by one. XIII begins to collect his memories piece by piece and tries to unravel the puzzle. When captured, he learns that he had been given a stolen identity and placed undercover to expose a group of top-level conspirators who threatened to overthrow the government.

shit movie........
First of all, I think Stephen Dorff's acting is mediocre, in addition, his character is developed and explained so quickly that the fun is over after an hour. Moreover, it is also badly stolen from The bourne identity.
Hasty conclusions and illogical plot twists make the story and (especially) some of the characters messy and unbelievable. Throw in a few cliché texts and you've got yourself a great bolt movie.
Another point to note; That Wally Sheridan's patriotic bullshit is about to puke. Apparently that man talks more "on behalf of" the American people than himself and only says what people want to hear. It's called populism and we've known it since Perón's time in Argentina.
The action scenes are also not realistic, very predictable and not special.
So is there anything good about this movie? Yes, Greg Bryk's acting is decent and the pace is so high that the film doesn't really get boring.
All this added together brings me to the following number of stars:

I didn't think it was a bad film with quite a bit of action and which resembled the series 24. It was also a relatively exciting film that managed to captivate.
The acting wasn't bad. I expected a bigger role for Val Kilmer.
The ending was quite surprising and quite abrupt.
Not a bad movie, but a fairly long one.
