Torpedo Alley plot

"Deadliest undersea corridor in the world!"

Shortly before the outbreak of the Korean War, Navy pilot Lieutenant Bob Bingham is rescued at sea by a submarine after his plane crashes, killing his two copilots. Bob returns to civilian life to come to his senses, but re-enlists in the Navy. At the New London training center in Connecticut, he meets Commander Heywood and Lieutenant Dore Gates, the submarine officers who took part in his rescue at sea. Bob falls in love with military nurse Lieutenant Susan Peabody, the daughter of Officer Oliver J. Peabody and Dore's girlfriend. When the Korean War breaks out aboard Heywood's submarine, both Bob and Dore are now rivals.
