A confusing British horror film where the ultimate concept is largely watered down by uninteresting side stories and lackluster concepts. It's certainly clear why Hallows Eve, after nearly 10 years on MovieMeter, only managed to secure a single vote (from me). Director Brad Watson delivers an uninteresting spectacle lacking in suspense, relying only on a few isolated scenes to propel the story forward. The introduction ultimately proves to be stronger than the subsequent progression, which is never a good thing in these kinds of small projects.
