Sommerhuset plot

Renate lives with her younger sister Hedda. Their relationship has cooled quite a bit after the death of their mother. Hedda is disappointed that the two of them never do anything together again. In response, when Renate arranges a trip to a place they used to go to when they were young, Hedda gets angry because Renate booked without discussing it. Because everything has already been paid for, she makes the trip with Mari, a friend of a friend. Slowly but surely, all her pent-up sadness comes to the surface.
