"The sheriff fought for peace. Now he would kill for vengeance."
Sheriff Sean Kilpatrick is a pacifist through and through. Frank Brand is the leader of a gang of outlaws. When their paths violently cross over a bank robbery that kills not only the bank manager but also his wife Katharine and his son, Sean is forced to jettison everything he stands for. Sean chases the outlaws into Mexico. Nevertheless, Mexican police officer Gutierrez is convinced that Sean is acting according to the law and is not out for revenge.
