Empire plot
A seven-hour shot of the Empire State Building, filmed from an office on the 44th floor of the Time-Life Building from 6 p.m. to about 2 a.m. You witness how the building is captured as in a floodlight the moment the city and publicity lights are turned on and how it is plunged back into darkness as the lights go out.
