Muallaf plot
"It is in forgiving that we are forgiven"
Two Muslim sisters, Rohani (21) and Rohana (14) flee from beatings by their wealthy father. They find shelter in a small village where they meet Brian Goh, a 30-year-old Catholic school teacher. The young man is impressed by the courage with which the sisters deal with adversity. The relationship that develops between Brian, Rouhani and Rohana leaves Brian confronted by ghosts from his own childhood.
