Taxandria plot

A young prince is sent to a hotel by the sea for tutoring. When he is there he soon gets bored and wanders around a bit before arriving at the lighthouse. He befriends the administrator and discovers a secret world that can be seen in the light of the lamp. The world of Taxandria is ruled by the dictatorship of the 'eternal present', in which all machines, progress and time are banned. However, a printer's servant unwittingly causes a revolution when he accidentally scrambles the story to be printed and then restores it. Unfortunately for him, in a text that is seen as objectionable.
