Ting Che plot
Chen Mo has a date with his wife, hoping to rekindle their stalled relationship. On the way home, he stops at a patisserie, but when he comes out, his car is locked in by another. Throughout the night, Chen Mo searches for the owner of the illegally parked vehicle in a nearby apartment building. His quest is full of bizarre events and encounters with eccentric characters: two old people who take in their precocious granddaughter after the death of their only son, a one-armed barber preparing fish head soup, a mainland Chinese prostitute trying to get away from her cruel a pimp and a tailor from Hong Kong who is heavily indebted to shady loan sharks.
