Accomplice plot
"Racing Against Time... Chasing The Woman He Hated!"
Private investigator Simon Lash and his assistant Eddie Slocum are hired by Joyce Bonniwell to search for her missing husband Jim. The duo learns from Vincent Springer, the president of the bank where Jim worked, that Jim had a love affair with one Evelyn Price. Following a message from Sheriff Rucker, Joyce and Simon head to Palmdale, where Joyce identifies a murdered man's body as that of her husband Jim. Simon then goes after that mysterious woman Evelyn Price and ends up in Mesa, New Mexico. Much to his surprise, the mysterious woman turns out to be Joyce and Simon also finds out that her husband Jim is still alive.
