"When love and hatred hit, it is difficult to maintain..."
When a shy young boxer is sent to prison for a murder he didn't commit, he is forced to comply with the wishes of a corrupt police officer and kills one of his fellow inmates. This prison experience transforms him from a defensive boxer to a possible champion. The only places he can vent his guilt is in the ring and with Raquel, the widow of the man he killed. In an effort to come to terms with himself, the winner in him emerges. But the presence of his former jailer and his own insecurity about Raquel overshadow his path to success.
