Wong Tin-ba and Fatt have both lived under the same Mahjong guru. His successor will be decided in a final match. Wong Tin-ba wins the duel, yet Fatt is named as his successor. Wong Tin-ba leaves angrily and tries to get his money's worth by winning all kinds of tournaments, Fatt quickly withdraws and leads an anonymous life. Until the two face each other again.
