"Service. It's the family business."
The Pineda family runs a poorly maintained movie house in a provincial town, which shows dated erotic double-features. The family themselves also live in this building and have a daily task in running the cinema. The family's leading wife, Nanay Flor, has a case against her husband for bigamy and is due in court today to see if a decision will finally be made after years of waiting. When everyone goes about their daily activities, it is easy to see how they suffer and deal with the sins of the others, whether relational, economic or sexual.
