Not a very good slasher. The characters are stupid and the acting is way below par. The murders also look very amateurish. The camera work is still reasonable, the music is still pretty cool and so is the ending. Unfortunately, the film is otherwise very boring. I regret ever buying this.

Sometimes a bad, amateurish horror film still wants to be somewhat entertaining
unintentionally with an effect on the laughing muscles. However, this one was so miserable that it was all the time

Completely against my better judgment, of course, when you see the scores on MovieMeter and IMDB, but this was not bad at all. It's a shame that more people don't see the fun in this. Despite all its obvious budgetary limitations, Allen Wilbanks makes it a fun slasher that doesn't take itself seriously for a moment.
Motor Home Massacre was released in 2005, but the look seems to have been shot in the 80's. The first kill with that tent being pulled up is great. Wilbanks probably thought so too, because he shows it in its entirety again later in the film.
We then follow a group of young people on a camping trip. It's a bizarre group and it's great to see how much fun the entire cast brings to their roles. The group's 'jerk' is especially great.
It then takes a while before the bloodshed picks up again, although there is plenty of absurdity to be experienced in between (the machete through the book, the wigger, the entire encounter in the gas station).
Don't make fun of me, but every now and then you can even spot a good shot with that whole SOV look (pretty much everything around that bridge that serves as the entrance to Camp Black Creek).
Very entertaining no-budget slasher that doesn't take itself seriously for a moment and doesn't want to be taken by the viewer.
