Ruby Cairo plot

"Adults play the most dangerous games."

Bessie Faro's quiet life takes a dramatic turn when her husband Johnny is killed in a plane crash in Veracruz, Mexico, leaving her with a mortgage and a lot of debt. Bessie leaves for Veracruz to collect Johnny's belongings, including a package of baseball cards. She discovers that the cards contain clues leading to a fat bank account in Veracruz and the suspicion that her husband was leading a double life.
