In 1942 the Russians were already pushed back so far by the Germans that the front is miles away in their own country. The Russian army chiefs decide to drop a few men behind enemy lines, including Private Kulkov and his assistant Lisa Elenko. While his colleagues are trapped in a bombed-out building, he must uncover important information.
