Sotto il Segno dello Scorpione plot
A group of young men are forced to leave their island by a volcanic eruption, but have lost their families in the natural disaster. When they arrive on another island, they find a peaceful farming community ruled by Renno. Because this island is also volcanic, the men try to persuade the inhabitants to leave with them to the safer mainland. And to reinforce their ideas, nothing goes too far for them. But Renno's villagers do not agree with the fanatical newcomers on everything and slowly relations harden, until they erupt.
