Tout Va Bien, On S'en Va plot
When, after a fifteen-year absence, a father suddenly shows up at his youngest daughter's door, the close friendship between the three sisters threatens to fall apart. The three sisters Laure, Beatrice and Claire lead a happy life. Laure, the eldest, runs the tango school of her father, who left the northern sun, and dedicates herself fully to the education of her daughter. Successful businesswoman Beatrice lives with her boyfriend in a luxurious apartment. Claire, the youngest of the three sisters, is a talented pianist who lives in a squat. The close friendship between the sisters is disrupted when their father Louis, who left his family for a new love, suddenly shows up at the door after 15 years of absence. Beatrice and Laure cannot forgive the man for abandoning the family; the much younger Claire does everything she can to get to know her father (whom she hardly saw as a child). Then the father turns out to be ill: he begins to suffer from dementia and no longer seems to be able to function independently. Claire is willing to forgive Louis for his transgressions and to take care of him, even if it comes at the expense of the friendship with her sisters.
