L'Amico d'Infanzia plot
After the death of presenter Duncan Mackay, 40-year-old Arnold Gardner is appointed to lead the talk show "The Twenty-Fifth Hour". His on-screen role immediately sparked interest and the program became a huge success with the TV audience. A rosy period begins for Arnold, until his childhood friend Eddie Greenberg appears on the scene. This man is sick and frustrated that he has not achieved fame himself.
