Geheimaktion Schwarze Kapelle plot
1940. Hitler's army is ready to invade Belgium and the Netherlands. A group of personnel officers under Admiral Canaris has a plan to sabotage the dictator's aggressive actions and still hopes for a peaceful settlement. Robert Golder replaces a member of the group who was killed by Himmler's supporters. He is sent to Italy to contact peaceful groups and meets Count Rossi, their leader. Himmler sends Tilla, a female spy, with him, but she falls in love with him and decides to help him with his peace negotiations.
