Inside Job plot

Two ex-criminals, Bart Madden and Eddie Norton, are now married and trying to stay on the straight and narrow. They get a job in a department store. A mobster, who knows their past, threatens to betray them about their criminal past if they don't rob the department store where they work for him. Once outside, both ex-criminals split the loot among themselves, without sharing with the blackmailer. The blackmailer is killed by the police, but what are Madden and Norton going to do?
