Seoul Searching plot
"They only met once but it changed their lives forever."
In the 1980s, the South Korean government created summer camps especially for the foreign-born teenagers called "gyopo". This allowed them to spend their summer in Seoul to learn more about their homeland. While the intentions of the camps were honorable, the activities of the teens were the opposite. Gradually, people began to consider canceling the program because the government could not get a grip on the young people.
