L'Impossible Monsieur Pipelet plot
Mauritius Martin is a postman. His wife Germaine is a concierge in a Parisian apartment building where the owners, the Richet couple, also live. Their daughter Jacqueline has graduated from her baccalaureate and that is the opportunity to celebrate the event with the whole family, accompanied by Uncle Robert, Aunt Mathilde and their son Jojo, who hopes to become a well-known boxer. But Mauritius is not happy with the increasingly intrusive advances to Jacqueline by Georges, the owner's son and medical student. He begins to talk about it with his father, who claims that their social positions separate them and that there could be no question of marriage.
