So far, about 240 girls, boys, men and women have left the Netherlands for Syria to fight with the IS Caliphate. For the first time we hear the stories of those left behind in the Netherlands. They talk candidly about their grief and impotence and about the outside world that doubts that grief and impotence. How did they miss this? Couldn't they have pointed this out? Or did they close their eyes because they didn't want to see it?
