Happy Together plot

Martin and Eline, a wealthy couple with two children, are about to buy a holiday home in Tuscany. But just after they sign the contract, it turns out that the branch manager of Martin's bank has run off with some of their money. However, this incident triggers a series of misadventures that shake the perfectly happy-looking family. Are they the result of an unfortunate set of circumstances? Or are they the result of the repeated wrong decisions of one man who wants to maintain his status at all costs? In his efforts to protect his family and himself, Martin gradually becomes more and more entangled in a net of lies and deceit. A solution seems very far off.
