The Reivers plot
"Boon is a reiver (that's a cheat, a liar, a brawler and womaniser) and he had just four days to teach young Lucius the facts of life (like cheating, lying, brawling and womanizing)."
Boon (Steve McQueen), is a mischievous wage worker who "borrows" his employer's new car, a spectacular Winton Flyer, and heads for Memphis. He is joined by Ned, the groomsman (Rupert Crosse), and Lucius (Mitch Vogel), an honest 12-year-old who is about to lose his innocence. The three 'reivers' (thieves) prepare for a wild adventure that takes them to the most diverse places: from a brothel to a spectacular horse race where Lucius must make sure that he is the first to cross the finish line to win back the Winton that Ned traded for a horse.
