After her lover died in a fire, a young woman decided to become a nun. When she goes to work at a hospital, she is constantly confronted by a communist man who is not sick, but has been living in one of the hospital beds for two years, because the communist party allows this. The nun and the communist clash, until the man falls in love with the nun.
