The Kidnappers plot
"The frankly sentimental story of love, hate and adventure in a primitive land!"
When their father is killed in the Second Boer War, orphans Harry and Davy MacKenzie come to live with their grandparents in Nova Scotia. But their stern grandfather is preoccupied with a protracted conflict with Dutch settlers over ownership of a nearby hill. When the boys' request for a dog is refused by their grandfather, they are initially disappointed, until they find a baby in the forest and decide to adopt it as a pet.
