This documentary richly illustrates the life of the great Polish director Krzysztof Kieslowski. We follow Kieslowski in the twilight of his life, in which he looks back on his life and in particular his time as a director. The various themes are treated by the filmmaker and Kieslowski with a soothing relativism.

A DVD box of the color trilogy also included a disc with this documentary. Nice and short, so it could still be watched last night a bit in between football. Anyway, that trilogy didn't taste very special to me, especially the Rouge part with many uninteresting lyrics. Well, that was nothing compared to this documentary. Many (or almost only) talking heads about a person who doesn't intrigue me immensely - I really didn't like it at all. Boring content and boring image. In any case, the documentary looked like an amateur thing with that quality of the camera. Nice music and fortunately reasonably short. But I'm done with Kieslowski for now. 1.0*.
