"Sometimes you have to get lost to find your way home."
After a family tragedy, eccentric 8-year-old American boy Wes tells his parents that he is actually a Mongolian goat herder. When Wes befriends a similarly 'misguided' Indian immigrant, they decide it's their destiny to make the child's dream come true through crowdfunding. Their journey to the mysterious plains of Mongolia further confounds the family.
