"The law won't protect you"
Farm boy Jonas meets his new neighbor, Casey, and immediately falls in love. When love blossoms, Jonas soon discovers Casey is being abused at home. Jonas decides to flee with her and steals a bag full of drug money from her corrupt father, local cop Wayne Caraway. With the stolen money meant for a better life, they learn what it's like to survive, all the while being chased by her father.
