Das Wilde Leben plot
Life story of fashion model and groupie Uschi Obermaier, who grew into an icon of the '68 movement with her free lifestyle. For example, she was on the front cover of Playboy and was adored by greats such as Carlo Ponti, Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. With the latter she had a restless affair for years. But life as a groupie in isolated and anonymous hotel rooms is not part of Obermaier's yearning for freedom. When she meets the adventurer Dieter Bockhorn and falls in love with him, she packs her bags and sets off with him on a world tour. However, the happiness is short-lived when Bockhorn passes away.
