In the summer of 1969, student Yoon Suk Young and his fellow students go to the countryside to do volunteer work. Once there, he starts dating a girl named Jung In. They experience a lot of beautiful moments together, but there appears to be a downside to the story. Jung In's parents have defected to North Korea and that can make life difficult for Jung In and Yoon Suk if she wants to go to Seoul with him.
