Another giallo who likes to be inspired by Les Diaboliques although fortunately some twists are added. A really good pulp film in which the list of employees reads like a giallo's who's who. The acting performances are what they should be for such a film. Nice to see that Caroll Baker can also handle such a role after the films in which I mainly saw her as a victim. I also think Jean-Louis Trintignant is a good actor for such films. He has a "what's happening to me now" kind of about him, which fits these roles perfectly. It gave quite a Psycho vibe when it turned out that he unexpectedly had to die as the hero of the story.
Visually it is also all right. Trintignant's yellow sports car with black roof will perhaps be a nod to the genre of the film.
