Das Letzte U-Boot plot

Towards the end of World War II, a German U-boat leaves for Japan, carrying a cargo of plutonium destined for a Japanese A-bomb. During their long journey, the officers of the submarine learn that Germany has capitulated and that Hitler has committed suicide. Then there is division among the crew, as one group, made up of fanatical Nazi members, wants to move on to Japan, while the other group wants to surrender.
