Benny Miller is a sales representative in vacuum cleaners. He works for the rogue company of con man Eddie L. Morrison. Benny Miller is a good salesman, but to keep him in check, Morrison constantly claims that Miller is underperforming.

The Abbott & Costello movie that isn't an Abbott & Costello movie. Particularly very popular as a film duo during WW2. But here they were arguing with each other. Abbott had fired a housekeeper because he was unhappy with her and Costello then hired her as his housekeeper much to Abbott's dismay. Or vice versa. The argument got so out of hand that both men no longer spoke to each other and only spoke their dialogues to each other on the set. Abbott here as the president of the vacuum cleaner factory and Costello as their new door-to-door salesman. Actually purely a Costello film. Although the film differs from the rest of their films, it is still very enjoyable. The dispute was settled again in the course of 1947. Nearly 20 more films and a television show followed. Around 1955 their popularity declined due to overexposure and we started to like other things. In 1957, Abbott & Costello ended as a duo. And in 1959, Costello died at the age of 52.
