Le Lièvre de Vatanen plot
Tom Vatanen (Lambert) is a famous photographer for a major Canadian magazine. He will soon receive the grand prize of journalism of the year. At the request of Peter, his editor-in-chief, he agrees to report on a drama that took place in Montreal. On the way back Tom almost kills a hare. Without a word, Tom gets out of the vehicle and goes into the woods in search of the injured animal. An unfailing friendship develops between humans and animals as they travel across the Canadian landscape and meet different types of people.
