The Deal plot
Film producer Charlie Berns (William H. Macy) is in quite a bit of trouble and therefore decides to make a film about British statesman Benjamin Disraeli. But he sees himself forced to take on a well-known actor from action films for the lead role, otherwise he will not be able to get the financing. When the protagonist is also kidnapped from the set, it comes down to a very close collaboration with a colleague (Meg Ryan). And whether Berns is so happy about that...
