Zoop in Zuid-Amerika plot
The rangers from the Oudehands Zoo are asked to save the very rare De Loro butterfly population before they crawl out of their cocoons and perish in the big fires in the South American jungle. For this, the rangers travel to South America, where they quickly divide into two groups. One group tries to track down the butterfly species on the basis of a map fragment. The other group hopes to complete this map by tracking down the expedition members who once discovered this rare species of butterfly. The rangers brave wild animals, runaway cows on the Argentine pampas and don't even shy away from a tango contest, speedboat race or impregnable rock wall to find the butterflies. Meanwhile, Moes befriends Cherpee, a jealous monkey with whom Taffie has a hard time. Mike is annoyed by stubborn Bastiaan who has decided to put his South American adventure on video for his fans. And Alwin and Sira... they have one of the most passionate adventures.
