Proof of Lies plot

Christine Hartley is a talented female scientist who discovers her husband is plotting to kill her. She still has to recover from her miscarriage as she finds her husband becoming increasingly distant towards her. All Christine wants is to get pregnant again and make a name for herself with her research work. When an old college friend of Chuck's, Sam, seeks her help writing his novel, they are drawn to each other. At first she tries to resist, but when she begins to suspect that her husband is cheating on her, she grows closer to Sam. One evening, she is attacked in the lab by an armed burglar. She feels something familiar about the burglar, and when she runs a DNA analysis on the hair the burglar left behind, it turns out that they match the DNA of Chuck, her husband...
