Lora Hart wants to be a nurse and does her very best to do so. She shares her room with Maloney. Shortly after Lora and Maloney have completed their nursing training, they are transferred to Home Care and end up in a troubled family. Lora and Maloney have to nurse two critically ill children, but it soon becomes apparent that there is more going on than meets the eye. Lora discovers a mysterious plot that also involves the doctor Ranger and the house driver Nick. Lora won't let it go.
