Nu. plot

"Now is the time to live again"

Rose and Jaap, two lovers who are separated from each other, address each other in intimate voice-overs. He in Dutch, she in French, the language of her native country. The lack is hard on them, Jaap is so overwhelmed that he barely functions. Occasionally he sees her in a vision or feels her comforting arms around him. He tries to take his own life, but is saved by his best friend JP. This unwilling womanizer takes him to France to visit Rose.
